I spent the afternoon in North Vancouver. That was deliberate.
In the evening I wanted to look back: at downtown and the harbourfront, from a direction I had not yet seen the city from.
At Waterfront Park more changed than the position.
Until then I had worked with the last light of the day. Here I faced away from it. It was getting darker in front of me.
Sky, water and buildings took on almost the same blue-grey. I was curious what would come of it.
I waited.
With every minute the skyline detached itself from the grey. The towers set warm accents, their reflections running far across the water.
On the shore sat a tiny red dot, a warning light. It, too, was reflected in the water.
I look for small things like that.
The light stayed like this for only a few minutes.
